Why is the publics perception of art very formalized and a specialty?
Has nothing taught this generation?
Have people forgotten that art is a way of exploring and finding things in a new way. What ever subject it may be, it can be experimented and seen with the new eyes of art.

I'm NOT talking about art within the gallery system. (Its a job, maybe way of life... selling to the rich is not exactly

I'm talking about new ways of allowing or forcing the public to listen, interact or help create.
The artist is acting as facilitator, actor, whistle blower, leader, or any other sort of position that is meant to produce new thoughts to provoke change.

What with art that is beautiful that produces no effects upon the user?
Crafts are beautiful and it should remain respected.
But why not again challenge people to dream, think and inspire?
